Try out the NEW Partial Credit Grading Feature!

We are excited to announce that our Partial Credit Grading feature is available on Clutch Prep, and the controls for it are all available on your Admin dashboard. Here is a help article that explains how you can set up partial credit grading.

The new grading options include:

• Completion Grading: Students are required to watch the solution video for every problem, regardless of their answer choice.
• Accuracy Grading: If students answer correctly, they will get full credit and are not required to watch the solution video. If students answer incorrectly, they can watch the solution video to earn back some credit.
  • You have the option to set what percentage students can earn for watching the solution video after an incorrect answer so there can be partial credit (NEW)
• Past Due Work: You can select if students are able to complete work after the due date for credit, or if no late work is accepted. If you do accept late work, you can select the % that students can earn for work completed after the due date. (NEW)
• Set Default Grading Settings for All Assignments (NEW)
• Set Unique Grading Settings for Individual Assignments (NEW)
• Hard Deadlines: You can also set hard deadlines for individual assignments, after which students' progress will not count toward their grade. (NEW)

• Students have this new Home screen that they will land on when they log into your class on Clutch Prep. Here, their upcoming Homework and Video Lesson assignments are organized so they know at a glance what to work on next.
• Students also can see their grades from the dashboard and expand the grade details to get some insights on their work.
• Homework tab (we are moving towards calling what we had previously called assignments, to now being called homework)
  • Professors have the ability to set partial credit
• More tab - contains "Video lessons" and "Practice" (which is the new name for what exam reviews were before because now students can form their own practice sets)
• View Grade Details from the "Home" page tab

We are excited to announce that Clutch Prep now has an integration with Blackboard! This has been one of the most requested features and we are thrilled to offer it now!

After listening to professors we have ensured that the new integration will automatically sync grades into the grade book.  This will save professor's time to focus on other important tasks.  In addition, students will be able to use a single sign on where they can access Clutch directly through Blackboard.  You will have control over it and can set it up easily.  The integration is designed to ease student registration and onboarding, as well as allow professors to have control and easily send grades between the systems.

For professors who use different LMS systems that are not Blackboard, stay tuned - we are planning to expand integration to more LMS in the future! For now, you can continue to transfer grades through our CSV downloads.

For professors who use different LMS systems that are not Canvas, stay tuned - we are planning to expand integration to more LMS in the future! For now, you can continue to transfer grades through our CSV downloads.
